Text:
They've taken Velius's teachings to heart, but I don't see the correlations they claim are so obvious.
Velius is an occultist at best, and quite plainly: An excitable man. He seeks connections to ancient mysteries and long-lost secrets, and in turn draws improbable conclusions.
His ideas are exciting, I will give him that. But at what cost? Our research is straying from its course as more and more of the acolytes flock around him.
When he leaves his bedchambers his followers act as if he's just stepped from Arx Primoris. When he speaks they silence themselves as if they're students being spoken to by a philosopher with accolades.
When one openly disagrees with or challenges the man they act as if he's some incontestable pillar of divinatory academia.
