“The Stride of the Murnahās.”

That is what I believe he told me he wanted, and so it was on me to provide the body of such a thing. All reported sightings I had ever heard of centered around the Talus Mountains, and it is there that I learned of my quarry: A rumor of a horned monster lurking in a tunnel carved many centuries ago by the hands of the Stone Folk.

When I arrived, the locals were delighted to hear that a man of magical talent had arrived to rid them of their problem. I waited until I was alone at night to cast my spells and confront the beast. I had to worry little about decomposition, the biting air left no room for it. Instead, my new followers and I began a slow march back towards the east with the body of the creature quite literally in tow.

The villagers likely did not even notice the empty graves until the morning.
