Text:
I have heard the whispers of Bos Ruah, and learned to distinguish them confidently from the hums of Bos Koch.
I have learned the many-stepped dance of the Wardaki to the north of Sepat Pash, and I have felt the rhythm of the great hunt of Vaha Drom when the sands of Sepat Shirin sprout with grasses and flowers.
I have seen Kepher roll the sun over the horizon of the northern sea as I stood on the shores of Erets Roba.
I have braved the many trials of Bos Kam, and beheld the burning magnificence of Kamin Mara.
It was when I saw that brilliant light that I understood:
You must close your eyes and stare into the darkness that engulfs you, knowing that with every sunset comes another sunrise.
You must flee from the visions that threaten to blind you and allow no words to interrupt your journey.
You must remove yourself from the winding ravines of the life you live every day, focusing only on the journey ahead.
You must feel the cold waters of Kebechet pour from the top of your head to the bottom of your feet, even underneath the hottest sun.
You must hear the whispers of Bos Ruah and hums of Bos Koch, and learn to distinguish them clearly from the sounds of your thoughts and the sounds of the world.
You must feel your heart thump its regular dance in your chest and feel the irregular rhythm of the passage of time.
You must refuse to drink from the tempting streams of distraction.
You must then allow the light to roll over the horizon of the darkness within you.
Only then will you behold its magnificence, and realize it is within you as it is in me.
This is what I have learned.
