Introduction
New Hyllspêia or simply Hyllspêia is a settlement in northwestern Myrland established after The Irruption by Kallard, Tindremene, and Blainn travelers from Nordveld. The settlement derives its name from Old Hyllspêia, a Blainn village formerly at roughly the same location which vanished and left behind nothing—not even ruins—after The Irruption swept across Nave.
Above New Hyllspêia looms an ancient Huérgar gate which has been sealed for as long as any can remember.

Old Hyllspêia
While no traces of Old Hyllspêia or its peoples have persisted into the present after The Irruption, historical texts depict it as a primarily Blainn settlement constructed in the blend of Blainn and Kallardian architectural style most often associated with the city of Branth on Nordveld.
The fate of Old Hyllspêia's populace has long been a subject of mystery and even heated contention by the settlers of New Hyllspêia.
