Canteri is both the name of a region in southwestern Myrland and that of a fallen Tindremic settlement established during the Imperial Campaigns in that selfsame region. The settlement was originally established to grow vitis for the monks of the nearby monastery known as Lavra Impios.

Further knowledge of the settlement's history or Lavra Impios itself is difficult to come by after The Irruption, but it is generally acknowledged that the monastery's tower collapsed during some sort of disaster, and the ruins of Canteri indicate that the settlement did not fare well either.

It is unclear if this disaster occurred as part of The Conflux, if the earthquakes which marked the end of The Irruption led to the monastery's fall, or if it happened entirely independently of these events.
