The Hivebreakers are an association which carries the self-appointed weight and heritage of The Tagmaton Irruption's Human survivors. They have dedicated their lives to the hunting, slaying, and culling of Tagmatons wherever they can find them as quickly and brutally as possible. Their goal is to not only kill, humiliate, and insult the Tagmatons however they can, but also to prevent a repeat of history by preventing their spread.

They can often be found in small encampments outside of towns, and are easily identified as they dress in, ornament, and decorate their equipment with pieces of exoskeleton and carapace from the Tagmatons they have slain. Far from being mere brutes, they have refined processes to harvest and craft with Huskweave, a type of remarkably light and durable carapace unique to the Tagmatons.

Those who have extensively proven themselves and secured great honor within the group are known to wear a garment called the Hivebreaker Cloak.
