+Wet.
+Everything down here is wet.
+And it stinks.
+I expected as much, but the draw of what I overheard brought me here anyway.
+I overheard two guards talking about some...//"Thing"// that a woman saw while walking through the harbor at night. She said she heard a strange wet sound and could not place it, following the noise out of curiosity until she stumbled on the strangest scene:
+A deceased cat being consumed by some formless creature. It did not react when she screamed. Only when she threw a rock at it did it seem to even acknowledge her presence.
+Into the sewer drain it went, disappearing somewhere beneath the streets.
+I've long had theories about such creatures existing deep within the sewers, particularly after what was said to have been observed during the [[:Tindrem#The Conflux & The Great Washout|Great Washout]] centuries ago. If my theories are correct, I may be able to extract a sample that will be just as, if not more, valuable than the entire organism itself.
