+Many who are curious about the vast darkness that exists below us know of the lichen-like growths that grow from the walls of many caverns. To our people, it is known as //"[[:Gods#Tark|Tark's]] Breath",// as it seems highly averse to the sun's light, and yet where the growths are found the air remains sweet and breathable.
+Most kinds are indistinguishable from plain gray and brown [[:Granum]], but I have heard from a [[:Sheevra]] that occasionally they are different colors.
+It would seem deep fungi grow best in areas of particularly thick growths of //Tark's Breath//. It is not exactly a common thing to find on the surface, and as such, I have had much difficulty growing full caps from the spores that have recently been brought to me.
+The glowing worms of the deep seem to match the glow of the mushrooms presented to them. I do not know if this is because they eat it, or if they can identify the correct color to hide from predators.
+Several have spun cocoons, which I did not expect. I wonder what they will become with time?
