We has just expanded into a new region of the structure, taking note of our surroundings and listing our findings and usual.

//Nyra//, ever the inquisitive one, had only just reached out her hand to examine what appeared to be a simple stone outcropping. The instant she touched it, the seemingly inert rock sprang to life, breaking away from the wall and began lumbering after us! I've not run so fast in quite some time.

What a luxury it would be to study them with my own eyes, what a rare opportunity to encounter a stable entity such as that. All I could make out when I looked back was the glint of something metallic that appeared to be stuck in its chest.

After we made some distance and could no longer hear the thumping behind us, we stopped and caught our breath. It's almost as if it was protecting something, but what?
