+Someone clearly had once lived here, but not anymore.
+Maybe not for well over a century.
+I heard a rumor of one who had made this place their home long ago, a strange and reclusive person who stayed far from civilization who had an equally strange assortment of incredibly rare books. Who would bring such things to a wild and dangerous place such as this? And how did they get them through the water without damaging them?
+Maybe they were a [[:Magic#Necromancer|necromancer]] or a [[:Magic#Demonology|demonologist]], or a smuggler, or maybe they were too mentally disturbed to be among others? I suppose it doesn't matter.
+I should not linger here too long, or one of those [[:Coralis Crab|crabs]] might find its way inside. I've heard they can clean a skeleton to the bone!
+My next journey will be to the mountains to join [[Ruins Scavenger Journal|my]] [[:Kallard|Kallardian]] [[Ruins Scavenger Journal|friend]]. Maybe there we will find what I'm looking for.
