The islands are one of two locales—the other appearing in ancient [[Tindremene|Tindremic]] maps of //Herabalter// as a location named //Irminsul//—to use the same nomenclature as the zoological classification [[Zoology#Mammalia|Irminae]], which itself includes the [[Aes Sith]] and [[Alvarin]] clades.
