The name //Pecusius// is tinged with both notoriety and respect among the [[:Tindremic Empire#Nobilitas – The Mind|nobilitas]], as they are descended by none other than //Pecus//, a famous [[:Thursar]] from [[:Tindremic Empire#Eeta – The Excrement|Vica Caducus]].

Though his eventual deeds are many, his first and greatest act was his bravery in defending what remained of several families in [[:Tindremic Empire#Nobilitas – The Mind|Vica Despectus]] from looters and bandits who surely would have done the //nobilitas// grievous harm.

Awarded for his bravery, he was raised to the status of //nobilita// and gifted a villa of his own. It was this in this villa that he married //Thalassonike of [[:Meduli]]//, another survivor of [[:The Irruption]].

To the shock of everyone, //Thalassonike// became pregnant with child. Despite rumors of infidelity, the child she bore was unmistakably part [[:Risar]], having the ears and nose of his father. It is reported that //Pecus// was never worried, saying she never smelled of another man.

Given the name //Atillo Pecusius//, their son would then become the first child of a newly founded family of //nobilitas// who to this day can be found in //Vica Despectus//, some of whom have served as [[:Tindremic Empire#Tricapita – The Three-Head|consuls]].

The family is known for their values of protection, strength, and the yearly feast they hold in //Vica Caducus// in honor of //Pecus's// origins, where any and all outcasts and beggars are welcome to attend provided they keep a safe distance from the family.

Food traditionally at this event includes different kinds of cake, reportedly favorites of //Pecus// who grew quite portly in his later years, as well as stews, roasted [[:Terror Bird]] legs, many bowls of fruits and vegetables, and [[:Gaur]] beef.
