The situation has spiraled out of control.

The [[Sidoian Pathfinder Journal|Pathfinder]] led the rest below, leaving us to fend for ourselves out here. If you ask me, the conflict was unavoidable.

Now, the key is broken, and so is our group.

I hold one of the pieces, a burden I never asked for. The other two both seek to restore the key, but I think for vastly different reasons. [[Sidoian Loyalist Journal|One wants to free our leader]], blinded by loyalty. [[Sidoian Betrayer Journal|The other loud one just seeks power for themself]] even if they deny it.

Me? I just want to survive. I fear what lies below, and I fear what our leader might do if they are freed once they see what has happened.

The //Pathfinder's// wrath is not something I wish to face. I've seen what they are capable of, and it's enough to make any sane person hesitate.

The others view me as a coward, but they don't understand the weight of my decision. I refuse to be dragged into their power struggle. I will hide my piece of the key and avoid their conflict. Let them tear each other part if they must.

All I want is to escape this cursed ruin and return home. But for now, I must bide my time and stay out of their way.

The key remains divided, and so does our fate.
