====== Introduction ======
//Lavra Impios// was a remote [[Tindremic Empire|Tindremic]] monastery in the [[Canteri]] region of [[Myrland]] with a prominent tower which was constructed during the //Imperial Campaigns//. The fallen village of //Canteri// was established nearby to provide the monastery's monks with a supply of [[Common Vitis|vitis]] for wine-making.

Further knowledge of //Lavra Impios// and the village of //Canteri// is very difficult to come by, but it is generally acknowledged that the monastery's tower collapsed into the //Coral Sea// during [[The Irruption]], and the ruins of //Canteri// indicate that the settlement did not fare well either.

Some [[Tindremene|Tindremic]] researchers have speculated that the [[Tower of Descensus]] may be something of a sister structure given its [[library:tower_of_descensus:journals_of_velius|allegedly similar construction]], though this claim is difficult to verify with //Lavra Impios// reduced to rubble.
