Some believe the continent to be the origin point of all //Styganthropes// or //"Dark Folk"//—though actual evidence proving this claim is scarce—and one look is all it takes to understand why the //Risar// are so intent on invading //Myrland//.

Ancient [[Tindremene|Tindremic]] [[Apocryphal Tales|maps of highly questionable integrity]] make note of several notable locales on the continent, perhaps foremost being a massive volcano—part of a mountain range called the //Muspel Ridge//—named //Mount Maal// which empties in part into the sea on the continent's northern coast at a location called //Maal's Tongue//.
