They are instead a singular plane, the perception of which varies based on the beholder due to their connection to countless other planes.

The common factors spoken of by those who have traveled to the realm are sights of threatening massiveness, endlessness, structures, and openings. A typical //Human// might perceive //The Grey Halls// as massive, endless branching hallways made of all-too-perfect stonework which, upon closer inspection, reveal impossible geometry. Conversely, an inexperienced forest-dwelling [[Veela]] may see them as an arrangement of majestic and unnatural stone or tree corridors.

Some scholars have suggested that the defining trait of [[Demons]] is the ability to travel and manifest between dimensions—whether physical or mental. If this is indeed the case, then perhaps a planar nexus such as //The Grey Halls// might be the natural place to encounter //Demons// gone astray.
