====== Introduction ======
//Canteri// is both the name of a region in southwestern [[Myrland]] and that of a fallen [[Tindremic Empire|Tindremic]] settlement established during the //Imperial Campaigns// in that selfsame region. The settlement was originally established to grow [[Common Vitis|vitis]] for the monks of the nearby monastery known as [[Lavra Impios]].

Further knowledge of the settlement's history or //Lavra Impios// itself is difficult to come by after [[The Irruption]], but it is generally acknowledged that the monastery's tower collapsed during some sort of disaster, and the ruins of //Canteri// indicate that the settlement did not fare well either.

It is unclear if this disaster occurred as part of [[The Conflux]], if the earthquakes which marked the end of //The Irruption// led to the monastery's fall, or if it happened entirely independently of these events.
