====== Introduction ======
While the [[Veela]] and [[Sheevra]] are by far the best known members of the //Alvarin// clade thanks to their contact with other cultures, there exist or have existed several others, such as the ancient and extinct or otherwise missing [[Pari]] of [[Sarducaa]].

Regarding their taxonomical classification, //Anam Sith// could be literally translated to something like //"Essence/souls of all Alvarin"// but means //"the Alvarin people"// or //"the Alvarin nation"//. //Sith Veela// is the //"Veelan Essence"//, //Sith Sheevra// is the //"Sheevran Essence"//, //Sith Pari// is the //"Pari Essence"//, and so on.

The //Alvarin// are stereotyped as being very motivated, often to a fault, and preoccupied with the task at hand—whether that be hunting, crafting, meditating, or anything else. The stereotypical //Alvarin// is always up to something and pursuing a particular goal or self-perceived calling. This drive is not always noble, and heinous acts have also been committed by the especially motivated.

They often come off as intense—though this is not necessarily the same as being restless—and at times even eccentric or strange, especially if they have not had much contact with cultures outside of their own. This may be exacerbated by the unusually long lives members of the clade tend to live, well beyond those of //Humans// and even beyond that of the already long-lived [[Oghmir]].

Only one //Alvarin// language, //Shi'an//, has been mentioned in passing for having influenced the [[Khurite#Gákti|Gákti]] [[Khurite]] language of [[Khurite#Inari|Inari]]. No examples of the language have been made available as of yet.
